There’s no denying that getting a good shot of your toddler can be quite a struggle. Not only are they always moving around but if you happen to catch them on a bad day, there’s almost no way that you’re going to get them to look at the camera.
But never fear, working with a professional photographer to capture a few shots of your little one, can be a fun, often memorable experience. Here are a few tips that will help make the photo session go as smoothly as possible:
Remember, when you’re trying to photograph a toddler, patience is key. Your photographer will, be able to guide you during the session to ensure that you walk away with the best possible shots of your little one. However, keeping an open mind is essential: Sometimes they will insist on holding a cell phone and cry if you take it away; other times they will want to hold on to grandma’s watch or daddy’s keys! Of course, negotiation can be futile with your toddler, so why not embrace reality and create a true portrait of what your toddler looks like in real life? I promise, you will treasure these photographs for the rest of your life.
