Cancer. One of the scariest words in the English language. The fight that haunts many, and has been for quite some time. Those going through this exhausting journey are people, just like you and I.
Between doctors visits, surgeries, therapies, and sleepless nights, its almost impossible to feel even remotely normal, let alone beautiful.
Having met extraordinary women who fought the battle against breast cancer, I was inspired to start working together with the Renaissance Cancer Foundation to empower women going through this painful journey. I called this project: "Portraits of Hope." I intend to capture how beautiful life is, even during the hardest and toughest struggles. I hope to show that all human beings, especially these ladies who are warriors day and night fighting for their lives, are gorgeous in every sense of the word inside and outside.
When finishing these portraits, a gallery/fundraiser will be held to benefit(insert place that is recieving money) & hope you will join me at Irene Kaplan Photography Studio, my studio, to raise funds and our voices, to share the message of these ladies struggle and how with the right attitude, we can all make a difference in their lives.
If you or a loved one is currently fighting Breast Cancer and are interested in participating in our Portrait Series please contact us at 956-562-4646 and tell us your story. Together with the Renaissance Cancer Foundation we are on a quest to inspire other women in our community to stay strong until we win the battle against breast cancer.
